The Education of Victoria by Angela Meadows
At sweet 16 Victoria is every father’s nightmare – horny! When the books starts she’s caught making out with the stable boy. Shocked that his daughter was ready to disgrace herself with the peasants he employs, her father packs her off to the Venice School for Young Ladies where she will be educated in all the arts a young woman needs before she can enter society.
Either his letter went astray or the business acquaintance recommending the school had ulterior motives, because it turns out to be the Venus School for Young Women which has nothing to do with Venice and everything to do with the Roman Goddess. Within hours of arriving at her new school and meeting the principle, Madame Thackeray, Victoria is being introduced to the wonders of sex. Continue reading “The Education of Victoria”

“Variety’s the very spice of life, that gives it all flavour.” So says the author William Cowper and so say I in regards to a recent read of “Sex in the City”. This collection of 12 erotic stores is hot and packs a punch. There is something for everyone; the stories cover everything from love to BDSM to raunchy sex to…well whatever you might think of really. Continue reading “Sex in the City – London”

As a fan of Black Lace (RIP), erotica and the paranormal, Love on the Dark Side seemed like the perfect read to me. Published a few years back, it finally made its way to the top of my enormous to be read pile. Featuring esteemed authors such as Mathilde Madden, Olivia Knight, Kristina Lloyd, Madelynne Ellis, Janine Ashbless and Portia Da Costa, my expectations were high. Unfortunately, the book didn’t quite live up to it. Continue reading “Book Review: Love on the Dark Side – Black Lace”

Have you ever had one of those days when the whole of the universe seems to be telling you “why not?” When you notice the cute boy at the front desk checking out your legs and flashing you a smile that’s just a little bit too long, and you know that he would be yours for the asking? Or you think back on your school girl days and that moment when your best friend’s hand accidentally brushed against yours and you wondered what it would be like to explore each other further, but couldn’t bring yourself to even consider it? Kyle is a gay man who’s had his heart broken. His way of coping is to blank everything out. And his way of doing that is plenty of sex and alcohol, and sometimes both at the same time. He’s determined to screw around to fill the void in his life without getting attached to anyone.
A conversation with his best friend changes Kyle’s life forever. All it took was one mention of cowboys and ranches, and Kyle decided to head off to Montana to make a fresh start. Once there, he quickly gains a reputation for himself for being a bit of a playboy, which doesn’t sit well with some of the others working on the ranch, or those living nearby. Kyle quickly finds himself in trouble, and after being rescued by a fellow cowboy – Kyle realises that he’s going to have to let go of his past in order to live his life. Naughty Bits 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the successful debut volume from the editors of Spice Briefs. It contains sexy novellas from the biggest names in erotica: Jenesi Ash, Portia Da Costa, Charlotte Featherstone, Lillian Feisty, Cathryn Fox, Megan Hart, Lisa Renee Jones, Elliot Mabeuse, Alison Paige and Saskia Walker. With just under 400 pages of raunchy storytelling, this book is bound to get you hot under the collar!
The stories’ themes are all very different, ranging from spanking to sexy priestesses and goddesses to IT technicians. In some anthologies the quality of writing varies, but Spice Briefs have clearly chosen the best of the best to nestle between the covers of Naughty Bits 2. Every tale has smouldering tension followed by scorching hot sex scenes. Continue reading “Book Review for Naughty Bits 2″

As usual with these short story selections, it’s not something you can sit down and read all in one sitting. Well not for me anyway. I find if you read more than three or four in a row, you start to lose the impetus.
What I enjoyed most about this book, apart from the outstanding quality of the writing, was that there were so many different interpretations of the term ‘ultimate decadence’. It really did take you into so many different scenes, settings and scenarios at the behest of the author’s take on the subject matter.
Quite revelatory and very arousing.
