Sex in the City – London

“Variety’s the very spice of life, that gives it all flavour.”  So says the author William Cowper and so say I in regards to a recent read of “Sex in the City”.  This collection of 12 erotic stores is hot and packs a punch.  There is something for everyone; the stories cover everything from love to BDSM to raunchy sex to…well whatever you might think of really. Book Review: Love on the Dark Side – Black Lace

Love on the Dark Side
Reviewed by Lucy Felthouse. Find her on Twitter and Facebook.

As a fan of Black Lace (RIP), erotica and the paranormal, Love on the Dark Side seemed like the perfect read to me. Published a few years back, it finally made its way to the top of my enormous to be read pile. Featuring esteemed authors such as Mathilde Madden, Olivia Knight, Kristina Lloyd, Madelynne Ellis, Janine Ashbless and Portia Da Costa, my expectations were high. Unfortunately, the book didn’t quite live up to it. Continue reading “Book Review: Love on the Dark Side – Black Lace”

ebook Review of Gay Love

Review by Carol Tierney

Gay Love is a collection of five short stories, each exploring a different aspect of male on male loving.

“Put a ring on it” is a sweet little story dealing with the transition from mates and football buddies to lovers. “Aduniad” describes a more established couple starting to develop a D/s dynamic. “Automatic Transmission” is an unusual tale of auto-fellatio and the bond it creates between two devotees of the skill. “Fisherman’s Friend” is a romantic tale of new love (and lust) growing out of heart break “One More Ride” quickly takes us from first glance to first fuck with a side order of gleaming chrome motorbike. eBook Review for the Adventures of Ambrose Horne by Chrissie Bentley

Review by Korben Rushe

This might be controversial, but for me, the best erotic fiction isn’t all about the sex. With no pun intended, it really should be about the full package. And that’s what Chrissie Bentley delivers in this collection of short stories which sway from the poignant to the ludicrously funny. And that package includes – rest assured – lots of hot Victorian action! Continue reading “eBook Review for the Adventures of Ambrose Horne by Chrissie Bentley”

Author Interview with Primula Bond

Author Interview with Primula Bond

What was your childhood ambition?
Predictably enough, to be a famous writer with my novels displayed in the window of WH Smith.  I wrote my first novel when I was 8.
What was your first job?
Sitting in a modern art gallery off Regent Street handing out brochures and smiling sweetly at the punters.  Also handing round drinks at private views where I met various celebrities including Princess Margaret!  I regularly got propositioned by artists including a lovely Irish one called Clancy who succeeded in painting my portrait.  I wish I had it now – I was in my pre-Raphaelite prime at 18 years old! Review by Dorla Moorehouse

Quick Kink Two is one of the most memorable erotica collections I have ever read. Kay Jaybee has created a book filled with stories that cover a range of different kinks, plots, characters, and scenarios. Each piece stands out as a compelling piece of erotic fiction, each one staying with the reader well after the book is finished Continue reading “eBook Review: Quick Kink Two by Kay Jaybee”

eBook review – Blank by Sommer Marsden

Kyle is a man in pain.  The man he loved deeply has left him and as a result, his life has spiralled out of control, into drugs and prison.  “Blank” takes place after he gets out of prison, when he is trying to find himself again and alleviate the pain of being alone, having lost someone he loved completely.  He can only expel his pain by using men’s bodies to dull the agony – his new addiction, sex.  If he can only screw man after man the pain will slowly leave him and he will be himself again.  Part of the rebuilding of his life is to make a major change and he goes to work in Montana on a ranch, a perfect place to find both men, and hopefully, peace. eBook Review – Restoration by Victoria Blisse

Reviewed by Andrea Nichol

Theresa is a professional restorer of antiques whose first solo job is to restore an ancient statue of Priapus, son of Aphrodite, the goddess of love.  His main physical characteristic is of course his phallus, which is usually depicted as enormous.  From the moment she sees the statue, Theresa is held in the grips of a helpless haze of lust.  It has been a while since she has had sex and that coupled with the raw sexuality of the statue has pushed her over into being mindlessly lustful. Book Review: Random Acts of Lust reviewed by Madeline Elayne

Have you ever had one of those days when the whole of the universe seems to be telling you “why not?” When you notice the cute boy at the front desk checking out your legs and flashing you a smile that’s just a little bit too long, and you know that he would be yours for the asking? Or you think back on your school girl days and that moment when your best friend’s hand accidentally brushed against yours and you wondered what it would be like to explore each other further, but couldn’t bring yourself to even consider it? Book Review: The Adventures of a London Call Boy by Cara Sutra

Review by Cara Sutra
This entertaining read details the hedonistic adventures of a young man in London who thoroughly enjoys sex. Deciding to combine his love of the sexual act with women and his lack of finances, he embarks upon a trail of saucy naughtiness which will leave you horny, empathising, giggling and breathless for the next encounter.
I did not think I would enjoy this book as much as I did; perhaps because of the reputation of gigolos and the like. Male prostitution is not only rare but still a novel taboo in our culture, for it to be tackled head on in this book shows a courage and a flair for the creative.
