What was your first job?
I worked in a candy store. It made me a bit of a chocolate snob at a rather young age, but that’s probably for the best.
What are the most important components that go into making good erotic fiction?
Sensory detail and a good sense of humour. Maybe that’s just me, but I love to laugh, too. I can’t imagine falling for someone who doesn’t make me laugh a LOT.
If you could have any celebrity pictured carrying one of your books who would you choose and why?

As usual with these short story selections, it’s not something you can sit down and read all in one sitting. Well not for me anyway. I find if you read more than three or four in a row, you start to lose the impetus.
What I enjoyed most about this book, apart from the outstanding quality of the writing, was that there were so many different interpretations of the term ‘ultimate decadence’. It really did take you into so many different scenes, settings and scenarios at the behest of the author’s take on the subject matter.
Quite revelatory and very arousing.

Alcamia displays an easy affinity with Victoriana in a short story that captures the ambiance well. Queen Victoria would not have been amused by such salacious assignations in a Chelsea town house, though modern day readers will be!
